FAQ

  • Initial consultation: I provide a free consultation to learn more about your concerns, provide information about the therapy process and determine whether this services is a good fit for the both of us. Or you can choose to set up an initial appointment which is an intake.

The intake session: If you decide to proceed with the therapy, the next step will be an intake session, which is the first formal session where you will discuss your reasons for seeking treatment, your medical history, and any previous mental health treatment you have received.

Treatment planning: After your intake session, we will work together to develop a treatment plan that outlines your goals, the frequency of therapy sessions, and the type of therapy that you will receive.

Ongoing treatment: Once you begin therapy, you will attend regular therapy sessions and work to address your mental health concerns, learn coping skills, and achieve your goals. Depending on your needs, recommendations may be made for individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, couples counseling, medication management, or a combination of these.

Remember, mental health treatment is a personal journey and the length of treatment will vary for each person.
